Duties

Help
  • Develop, coordinate, and maintain contract oversight system, including serve as Contracting Officer Representative (COR).
  • Perform a variety of program, administrative and management support functions including analysis, data management, and outreach activities.
  • Provide routine budget oversight; prepare budgetary and programmatic reports; recommend actions relating to grant management.
  • Provide analytical and administrative support to IAF's grant program.
  • Gather and communicate required information and monitors execution, funding, and contract compliance.

For the GS-09 level:
Must have at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-07) in the Federal Service that has given you the particular knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform the duties the position. Specialized experience may also include demonstrated experience that reflects the skill and ability to apply fact-finding and analytical techniques to gather, compile and organize information such as budgetary or contract data and information; the ability to present data, interpretations and conclusions in a clear, concise and logical manner; or the ability to prepare documents, in any or all of the following administrative areas: budget and financial management; purchasing, procurement and contract administration; or general administrative services.
OR
Successfully completed a Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field or LL.B or J.D. from an accredited college or university, which provided me with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of this position. NOTE: Transcripts must be submitted with your application materials. Education cannot be credited without documentation.
OR
Have a combination of education and experience as described above. To combine education and experience, first take the number of semester hours or equivalent earned towards a graduate degree beyond one (1) year (18 semester hours) and divide by 18. Then take the number of months of full-time experience and divide by 12 months. Add the percentages together. The total must equal at least 100 percent to qualify. You must include transcripts. NOTE: Transcripts must be submitted with your application materials. Education cannot be credited without documentation.

For the GS-11 level:
Must have at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-09) in the Federal Service that has given you the particular knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform the duties the position. Specialized experience is that which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. Specialized experience for this position includes: experience monitoring and providing oversight for administrative programs and service; interpreting and applying a wide variety of administrative policies and procedures to provide accurate and timely guidance to employees and supervisors; using evaluative and analytical methods to perform program management duties or project tasks; drafting statements of work for contracts; consolidating budget and meeting materials; or monitoring budget allocations and execution to insure that operating program objectives are met. Specialized experience may also include demonstrated experience that reflects the skill and ability to apply fact-finding and analytical techniques to gather, compile and organize information; the ability to present data, interpretations and conclusions in a clear, concise and logical manner.
OR
Successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, or a LL.M., if related (e.g., PhD. in Business, Management, or relating). OR
Have a combination of specialized experience and education as described above, such that the total equals 100%. For example, I have 6 months of experience and half of the degree requirements for a Ph.D. (Note: Applicants who select this response must provide transcripts as verification of their education).
