Provides division leadership for collection, management & dissemination of information and knowledge concerning Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP).
- Facilitates convening functions for the MEP National Network with individuals from NIST MEP & MEP centers with respect to facilitating working groups & communities of practice.
- Manages outside industry experts for Centers
- Develops & implements national initiatives of importance to the MEP system, providing tools, training & Center leadership development working with senior level personnel within state governments, non-profits and institutions of higher education.
- Primary interface between MEP & the MEP Centers with respect to strategic alignment, knowledge management, and partnerships.
- Conducts industry analyses and studies emerging markets and supply chain technologies to determine products and services to assist small manufacturers to be competitive in a global market.
- Create and maintains a system and an environment that supports Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility principles and processes.
- Member of MEP's senior management team in strategic planning & operations.

Qualifications
This position requires one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level (ZA-IV at NIST). Specialized experience is defined as: experience as a supervisor leading a staff to take actions related to advancing a program's fundamental goals and objectives. Leading or providing oversight on the development and implementation of a system to include assessing supply chain gaps and improving workforce development needs to assist small manufacturers. Creating and developing policies and procedures within and outside their organization.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done. We will credit all qualifying volunteer experience in your application.

This job does not have an education qualification requirement.
