Your salary will be based upon the locality pay of your work site as determined by law.

In order to qualify for a Human Resources Specialist, GS-0201 at the GS-12 level, you must have: 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: Collaborating with Hiring Managers to recruit/find 'high-quality' applicants based on position critical requirements; Drafting/revising position descriptions by working with Hiring Managers using classification standards/regulations; Creating job analysis and employee assessments for the Delegated Examining (DE) OR Merit Promotion (MP) positions; Developing and posting vacancy announcements to recruit candidates; Performing final review of applicant eligibility and qualifications; Analyzing or developing organizational data using Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
In order to qualify for a Human Resources Specialist, GS-0201 at the GS-13 level, you must have: 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: Leading all phases of the federal government hiring strategy (e.g., job analysis, assessment development, vacancy announcement, application review, and Certificate development) to find 'high-quality' applicants; Advising Hiring Mangers on unusual recruitment strategies; Presenting information session on HR related activities (e.g., hiring flexibilities, unique recruiting methods) to stakeholders; Serving as a quality reviewer and/or auditor for announcements, assessments, and Certificates of Eligibles; Analyzing organizational data using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) to ensure workforce structure is in compliance with Federal and/or agency rules and regulations.
