Help
  • You will evaluate incoming requests for categorization and skills required.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

This position has a selective placement factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.

GS 07 Applicants:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Maintaining government records, files, and reference publications in order to prepare reports and provide property management and accountability 2.) Entering maintenance and repair requests for military facilities into an automated tracking system; 3) Developing work orders to meet requirements for maintenance of military facilities; and 4) Assisting in the inspection of military facilities and monitoring of contractual services performed.

GS 06 Applicants:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting in maintaining government records to prepare reports and provide property management and accountability 2.) Entering repair requests for military facilities into an automated tracking system; 3) Assisting with work orders for maintenance of military facilities; and 4) Assisting in the inspection of military facilities and monitoring of contractual services performed.

This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.

May be required to perform work outside normal duty hours to support emergent facility repairs/coordination due to training evolutions occurring 7 days per week.

A 40 hour work week is typical for this position.

Must be able to carry up to 50 pounds.

This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
