If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for Information Technology in the Information Technology Division, United States Attorney's Office, Washington, D.C.

Typical work assignments will include:
- Provides system analysis support in planning and designing new and improved information systems.
- Communicate complex technical requirements to non-technical personnel.
- Diagnoses and resolves problems in database design, data integrity, data storage and data retrieval.
- Provides customer support services including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, customer assistance, and training.
- Ensures integrity of IT programs and services.

Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.

Qualifications

To qualify as a GS-12, you must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal Service.

Specialized Experience: Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized Experience is defined as diagnosing and resolving problems in response to customer reported incidents; planning, designing, developing, testing implementing and managing internet, intranet, and extranet activities; planning and designing system architecture; providing support for developing new systems, approaches, and applications of use, or potential use; monitoring functionality, security and integrity of internet services; and ensuring information system reliability and accessibility.

Interagency Career Transition Assistance Plan (ICTAP)- The ICTAP provides eligible displaced Federal competitive service employees with selection priority over other candidates for competitive service vacancies.
