Conducts site visits, site inspections, and field oversight activities for quality assurance reviews.
Provides environmental technical guidance by serving as Project Delivery Team member for U.S. Projects.
Prepares and provides technical input for scopes of work and independent government estimates for environmental service contracts.
Plans and executes assigned environmental projects through application of professional knowledge and skill in environmental compliance and conservation practices, processes and techniques.
Incumbent must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
Two year trial/probationary period may be required.

A. Degree: Bachelor's degree (or higher degree) in engineering. Combination of Education and Experience: College-level education, training, and/or technical experience that furnished (1) a thorough knowledge of the physical and mathematical sciences underlying engineering, and (2) a good understanding, both theoretical and practical, of the engineering sciences and techniques and their applications to one of the branches of engineering. Education
FOR BIOLOGIST:
Degree in: biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry, or related disciplines appropriate to the position. OR Combination of education and experience: Courses equivalent to a major, as shown in A above, plus appropriate experience or additional education.

Experience: Four years of archeological work experience that demonstrated a thorough knowledge of the fundamental principles and theories of professional archeology. The work must have included archeology field experience, which may include that gained in an archeological field school Field experience should have included a combination of professional experience in archeological survey, excavation, laboratory analysis, and preparation of written materials. FOR CHEMIST:
A. Degree in: physical sciences, life sciences, or engineering that included 30 semester hours in chemistry, supplemented by course work in mathematics through differential and integral calculus, and at least 6 semester hours of physics. OR

Combination of education and experience -- course work equivalent to a major as shown in A above, including at least 30 semester hours in chemistry, supplemented by mathematics through differential and integral calculus, and at least 6 semester hours of physics, plus appropriate experience or additional education.
FOR INDUSTRIAL HYGIENIST:
A bachelor's or graduate/higher level degree in industrial hygiene, occupational health sciences, occupational/environmental health, toxicology, safety sciences, or related science OR a bachelor's degree in a branch of engineering, physical science, or life science that included 12 semester hours in chemistry, including organic chemistry, and 18 additional semester hours of courses in any combination of chemistry, physics, engineering, health physics, environmental health, biostatistics, biology, physiology, toxicology, epidemiology, or industrial hygiene or Certification from the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH).Courses in the history or teaching of chemistry are not acceptable.
