Summary
This position is located in the Career Development and Outreach Branch, Intramural Research Program (IRP), National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).
Conceptualizes, develops, organizes, maintains, and enhances NIAMS website(s) and related digital resources (social media, multimedia, etc.).
Advises Institute staff on the most effective methods for presenting their information on the NIAMS website and the uses of new tools and technologies to engage priority audiences.
Maintains oversight of the NIAMS website content management system (CMS), trains staff in the use of this system, has the authority to grant staff permission to be web authors, and is responsible for establishing approval processes.
Works with NIAMS staff and Scientific Information Technology Branch in developing website reorganizations, redesigns, development of new page layouts, social media and marketing/outreach efforts, and user surveys and other analytics tools.
The incumbent participates in developing and implementing policies, standards, guidelines, and Standing Operating Procedures (SOPs) for digital communications, products, and content.

You qualify at the GS-13 level, if you meet the following qualification requirement:
You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: managing a website available to public audiences to efficiently post organizational content; collaborating with senior leadership to illustrate programmatic missions and initiatives via webpages, social media and multimedia; managing and organizing website/application creation, workflow design, and implementation; and responding to public inquiries related to the organization's mission and website content.
