As a/an Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (Assistant Director of Human Capital), you will:
- Plan and direct the human resources for strategic workforce planning, classification, and position management, staffing and recruitment, executive resources, learning and development, performance management, employee relations, data analytics, benefits, health, and wellness, and other employee work life programs for TIGTA.
- Interpret complex legislative, regulatory and policy guidance governing human resources programs.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement TIGTA's merit promotion policies and programs.
- Advise and make recommendations to the Director, HC&PS in the formulation and issuance of all documents that establish HR management policies and program manuals applicable to TIGTA, including those related to Executive Resources and Executive Resources Board activities: Help ensure information and guidance to TIGTA management satisfies all relevant HR matters, particularly their compliance with major strategic initiatives such as those pertaining to results-based performance management.
- Represent TIGTA in meetings and conferences with other TIGTA functions as well as officials of other Federal agencies, the Department of the Treasury, Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Office of Management and Budget (OMB), Office of Personnel Management (OPM), and private sector organizations.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
