Duties

Help

As a Peripheral Equipment Operator, you will rotate through the following payment operations duties:

  • In the printing operations rotation, you will access the Payment Automated Manager (PAM) system applications to identify and prepare files for printing on IBM 4100 high speed printers
  • In the enclosing operations rotation, you will gather the appropriate supplies, so the print job is properly folded and placed in the correct envelope with the right insert, if required
  • In the mail operations rotation, you will pre-sort and coordinate workflow so the jobs are sorted and prepared for pick up and mailing by the USPS
  • While serving as the workflow coordinator, you will monitor the monthly payment calendars and coordinate with the pre-sorter to ensure all the mail required for that day's mail date is sleeved, banded, and labeled

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

You must have one year of general experience which includes progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled.
OR

You may substitute education for general experience as follows: 2 years of education above high school.
OR

You may qualify by a combination of experience and education. Options for qualifying based on a combination will be identified in the online questions.
