    This position is located within a field component of the Department of Defense (DOD, Office of the
    Inspector General (OIG), Assistant Inspector General for Investigations (OIG-INV), Defense Criminal
    Investigative Services (DCIS), Front Office.

    As a CRIMINAL INVESTIGATOR (Program Manager, Internal Compliance and Inquiries), GS-1811-14, your typical work assignments may include the following:

    • Exercise oversight and prudence in the update of those policies and procedures within the assigned area of responsibility, in support of the DCIS investigative priorities.
    • Prepares and/or assists in the preparation of routine and/or special reports of correspondence for the OIG and DCIS leadership.
    • Performs various special projects as assigned relative to agency training and new initiatives relating to policy.
    • Develop understanding of DCIS and OIG organizational goals and priorities and complies with policy action officers.

    Travel Required

    25% or less - You may be expected to travel 25% for this position.
