Qualifications
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Serving as the recognizing senior inorganic coatings, surface finishing and electroplating technical in order to provide engineering services; 2) Solving complex programs to provide advice or instructions on coatings, failure analysis and evaluation; 3) Investigating and resolving problems with electrodeposition, surface treatment and cleaning processes to develop processes properly; 4) Utilizing materials and engineering and chemistry to present date in such a manner to recognize and emphasize both theoretical and practical aspects; 5) Contracting with specialists and experts from other military agencies to obtain the latest data on new specialized equipment for special problem areas; 6) Consulting and advising supervision on day to day basis concerning changing workload requirements such as production support, budget and policy changes.

Therefore, creditable experience should have demonstrated similarly appropriate skills or abilities needed to perform the work of the occupation.
