Summary
You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk, SUPSHIP Bath Annex of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER NORFOLK.
Current permanent employees, Current or former time-limited employees that occupied a position located at a Defense Industrial Base Facility (DIBF) or Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB), and DoD Military Spouse Preference (MSP) eligibles.
You will participate in program reviews, configuration audits, and other programs for assessment of integrated logistic support.
You will integrate all applicable ILS elements and contractor support to ensure an optimum cost-effective support capability.
You will monitor the progress of ILS Planning by constant surveillance and quantitative or qualitative analysis of the report flow between the SUPSHIP, other commands, and the contractor.
You will assist in reviews of of planning documents such as Ship Specifications, ILS Management Plans, and Class ILS Plans applicable to the ships, systems, and equipment to determine the scope of the ILS effort.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying a knowledge of the policies, procedures, and techniques of integrated logistics management in order to determine requirements and initiate requirements. Examples of specialized experience include the following: 1) Utilizing knowledge of the policies, procedures, and techniques of integrated logistics management in order to determine requirements and initiate procurement 2) Coordinating actions and developing plans of action and milestones to effectively monitor and assure effective supply/program support 3) Monitoring progress toward meeting logistics plans and identifying the cause and impact of delays or other problems 4) Utilizing knowledge of life cycle support concepts, programs, policies, and procedures applicable to ships to assure proper supply/program support..
