You will serve as a Senior Lead Glider Pilot (GG-09) performing at the entry/developmental capacity to support the command and control (C2), remote deployment, daily operation and recovery of Unmanned Underwater and Unmanned Surface Systems (UxV) using Unix-based and PC computer systems. - You will perform routine and basic analyses and interpretations of diverse physical oceanographic and Unmanned Underwater and Unmanned Surface Systems (UxV) diagnostic data in order to assist in the development of UxV mission plans.
- You will identify system software and hardware deficiencies, write entry level computer scripts, and implement corrections to background processes.
- You will develop entry level technical reports and environmental products for Navy applications that involves the application of fundamental oceanographic theories with emphasis on physical oceanography data collected by UxV.
- You will plan and execute approaches, leading to solutions by way of thorough review of existing methods, definition of problem areas and selection and application of appropriate methodology.
