    This position is located within the Department of Defense Office of Inspector General (DoD OIG), Deputy Inspector General for Investigations (DIG-INV), Investigative Operations Directorate.

    As a Criminal Investigator (Program Manager, Product Substitution), GS-1811-14, your typical work assignments may include the following:

    • Exercise oversight and prudence in the update of those policies and procedures within the assigned area of responsibility, in support of the DCIS investigative priorities.
    • Prepares and/or assists in the preparation of routine and/or special reports of correspondence for the OIG and DCIS leadership.
    • Performs various special projects as assigned relative to agency training and new initiatives relating to policy.
    • Develop understanding of DCIS and OIG organizational goals and priorities and complies with policy action officers.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
