This position is located at Department of Housing and Urban Development OIGOffice of Information Technology. As a/an IT Specialist (Internet), you will:
- Serve as the principle expert and lead technologist for the planning, development and coordination of all virtual and cloud-based technologies (VMware, Microsoft Office365 and Azure)
- Provide authoritative advice to management and other technical specialists in areas such as disaster recovery, capacity planning, applications development, hardware strategy, and operating systems security as it relates to web and cloud-based solutions.
- Lead and execute the deployment of virtual and cloud-based technologies releases into Testing, Staging, and Production Environments (develop these environments where missing).
- Oversee technical management of virtual and cloud-based environments, content, applications, features, and capabilities, as well as the operation of the hardware and software platforms on which they run.
