Duties

Help
  • Provide staff oversight of the Operations and Maintenance functions.
  • Serve as Contracting Officer?s Representative (COR) for the installation support services contract.
  • Manage quality assurance and quality control program for the contracted and in-house workforce.
  • Assist with implementation of the Utility System Management Program in accordance with The Joint Commission (TJC) Environment of Care requirements for compliance with accreditation.
  • Analyze and formulate requirements for electronic systems to support Facility Management Division programs, systems and processes.

  • A Tier-1 Investigation - National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) investigation is required.
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) or clothing (such as boots, goggles, gloves) as required.
  • This position requires screening for required immunizations and for evidence of tuberculosis.
  • Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, (5CFR Part 2634, Subpart I USOGE, 6/08).
  • Position is designated as Mission Essential. The incumbent will be required to ensure continuity of operations during ALL hazards emergency situations.
  • Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) may be required up to 5% of the time.
  • A 2-year probationary period may be required.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) managing a maintenance program for hospitals, medical centers, large commercial office/retail complex, or military facilities; 2) applying accepted industry standard construction methods to repair building facilities and utility systems such as electrical, water, and sewer systems; and 3) developing preventive maintenance programs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Education
