The following are the duties of this position at the GS-13. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.
- Plan, schedule, and conduct projects and studies to evaluate and recommend ways to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of substantive activities, projects, tasks, and specific operations carried out within OCIP.
- Analyze and evaluate program effectiveness in meeting established goals and objectives.
- Analyze sensitive information requirements to develop reporting systems, including system specifications, data gathering and analytical techniques, and system evaluation methodology.
- Develop conclusions, options, and recommendations for improvements to program operations that take into account and give appropriate weight to uncertainties about the data and other variables that affect long-range program performance.
- Research and investigate new or improved business and management practices, and reengineer processes for application to programs or operations.
