Summary

About the Position: ATEC is participating in an alternative personnel system known as the Acquisition Workforce Demonstration Project. Among other features, the Demonstration Project replaced GS grade levels with occupational families and pay bands. The pay band NH-03 is equal to the former GS-12 step 01 through GS-13 step 10. This position is subject to the NH-03 salary control point of the ATEC AcqDemo Business Rules therefore the salary will not exceed $101,226, equivalent GS-12.

Duties

Help
  • Serves as the WSMR Ready and Resilient (R2C) Program Coordinator and Wellness Program Coordinator.
  • Responsible for planning, analyzing, training, developing, administering and evaluating command policies and programs such as development and professional growth, recruitment, readiness and wellness, outreach.
  • Studies and evaluates the interests and needs of the civilian workforce in order to develop comprehensive programs.
  • Participates in the planning, scheduling, and executing of major programs designed to improve well-being and ensure adequate services, facilities, and resources for the organization.
  • Establishes action plans and funding plans to accommodate the command's recruitment, outreach and employee development mission, goals and objectives.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Administering a civilian Human Resources program such as outreach, human capital initiatives, readiness, and/or professional growth; 2) Coordinating resiliency and wellness related initiatives and/ or programs; AND 3) Building partnerships with others outside the organization. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-02/GS-11)
