The incumbent of this position has responsibility for researching job stress and health problems and psycho-social considerations dictating special health and safety needs for certain groups of workers.Learn more about this agency
- Prepare and/or directs the preparation of research reports, monographs, and papers describing findings from projects and studies connected with program work.
- Provide consultative and support services related to work organization, job stress and health, and intervention research methods.
- Direct worksite and laboratory research projects to determine the impact of organizational and job stressors on workers' physical and mental health.
- Provide technical and scientific input for the development of project concepts, formulation of research protocols, and execution of studies.
Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel 5% domestically and 1% internationally in this position.
