    Summary

    As an IT Specialist (Applications Software) in Information Technology Services (ITS), you will provide the full range of support in all areas and functions associated with OCC applications software and services.

    Responsibilities

    As an Information Technology Specialist (Appsw), you will:

    • Plan, design, document, develop, configure, modify, test, install, integrate, implement, and support new or existing (COTS and non-COTS) application software which may include: Angular V2 or above; Angular Materials V5.0 or above; Node.js/NPM; Json; TypeScript; JQuery; Ajax; JavaScript. HTML 5; XML; CSS V3+/Bootstrap; Accessibility.
    • Develop software applications utilizing an understanding of IIS 7 or higher, SQL Server 2008 or higher, (queries, views, stored procedures and functions) SQL Server Reporting Services, Oracle 10 or higher. May support specialized product technologies, such as: WCF/SOAP; Web API RESTFul; SQL; IIS; LDAP.
    • Write, debug, and maintain code and determine output media/formats. Develops scripts and Glueware to configure, link, and interface application software. Design user interfaces. Administers, operates and maintains the application software including respective database repositories such as: .Net V4.X; C#; Linq; ASP.Net; Entity Framework 5+; Visual Studio 2017+ or Visual Studio Code; MVC V5+.
    • Manage, install, maintain, monitor and/or troubleshoot all software and/or hardware to assure optimum performance.
    • Plan and execute full range of project management activities. Develop and maintain detail project plans and maintains awareness of new and leading technologies.

    Occasional travel - Travel locally and/or overnight to attend conferences/training.
