Applicants must possess at least one year of specialized experience that is equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the GS-12 level in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is defined as experience that is in or directly related to the line of work of this position and has equipped you with the knowledge and competencies to successfully perform the duties of this position. More specifically, this requirement involves experience leading a team of up to four (4) employees in all facets of administrative services, human resources, mail operations, acquisition, customer service, and Information Technology (IT). In addition, experience involves managing IT infrastructure projects, managing all aspects of an IT project to ensure proper compliance, and experience with IT related rules and regulations.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
TIME-IN-GRADE: Current career or career-conditional employees of the Federal government, or former career or career-conditional employees, who have a break in service of less than one year, are required to meet the time-in-grade restriction of one year of Federal experience at the next lower grade, with few exceptions outlined in 5 CFR 300.603(b).
