Current permanent employees of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER INDIAN HEAD DIVISION (UIC 00174) , current or former time-limited employees that occupied a position located at a Defense Industrial Base Facility (DIBF) or Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB), and DoD Military Spouse Preference (MSP) eligibles
You will perform disassembly, inspection, assembly, reconfiguration and circuit testing of tactical Standard Missile rocket motors to support quality evaluations and non-tactical rocket motor boosters.
You will maintain product quality and implement continuous process improvements.
You will work with engineers and technicians on the resolution of problems associated with product quality as well as the design and adaption of process equipment.
You will review test results performed by others to optimize processing.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
NT-3: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialize experience at or equivalent to the NT-2 (GS-5 to GS-8 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing engineer technician support in the operation and process improvement for missile rockets or their components.
NT-2: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialize experience at or equivalent to the NT-1 (GS-1 to GS-4 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: reading and interpreting technical drawings, diagrams, or specifications to perform technical engineering work.
