The position serves as a Budget Analyst located in a Bureau of Land Management (BLM) office. The primary purpose of the position is to perform routine analytical, technical, and administrative duties related to formulating, executing, and monitoring the budget for the Northwest Oregon District. The duties include, but are not limited to, formulating and executing operating budgets; monitoring costs, commitments, and accomplishments; interpreting and implementing Washington Office and Oregon State Office directives; entering and extracting data from various proprietary financial systems; and providing guidance to district employees.
Main duties of this position include: Strategic Planning, Budget Formulation, Budget Execution, Budget Performance, and Budget Training.
To qualify based on education, you must submit a legible copy of transcripts from an accredited institution with your name, school name, credit hours, course level, major(s), and grade-point average or class ranking. Transcripts do not need to be official, but if you are selected for this position and you used your education to qualify, you must provide official transcripts before you begin work.

GRADUATE EDUCATION: One academic year of graduate education is considered to be the number of credits hours your graduate school has determined to represent one academic year of full-time study.
