    Summary

    This position is located in the Change Management & Workload Automation (CMWA) organization, Infrastructure Operations (IO), IT Development Operations (DevOps), Office of Information and Technology (OlT). The incumbent serves as the supervisor responsible for overseeing the full range of duties associated with Control & Configuration Management.

    Physical Requirements: The work is primarily sedentary. There are no special physical demands for this position.

    Supervisory Probationary Period: Applicants selected for this position may be required to serve a one year supervisory probationary period. Failure to successfully complete the supervisory probationary period will result in the employee being reassigned to a position in the agency of no lower grade and pay than the one the employee left to accept the supervisory or managerial position.


    Major Duties:
    • Undertakes region enterprise operations and infrastructure-level assignments of a special and critical nature
    • Directs and manages ongoing or ad hoc technical teams in the overall operations and maintenance of systems and infrastructure
    • Ensures appropriate documentation is developed to substantiate plans and procurements, and ensures usability and effectiveness of processes and technology
    • Ensures policies are in compliance with regulatory requirements and legislated mandates governing those programs, and provides technical direction to staff and contract team members
    • Provides operational oversight for the change control and configuration management processes within the division
