This position is located in the Secretariat and Information Management Branch of the Legal Division. The Records and Information Management Specialist helps build and carry out the work of the Records Management Office. The incumbent also serves as the Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s (CFTC or Commission) Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) Program Manager. CT/GS-12: Applicants must have at least 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-11, in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is experience in or directly related to the line of work of the position to be filled, and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Examples of specialized experience includes: Experience assisting in the development of policies and procedures for information management programs, such as records management CUI, or privacy programs; Experience utilizing quantitative and qualitative methods for assessing the effectiveness of information management programs; Experience providing technical advice and guidance on information management program requirements, such as records management, privacy or CUI; Experience assisting in the development of briefings and/or trainings to inform agency employees of their information management responsibilities; Experience working with IT professionals to translate information management requirements, such records management, privacy, or CUI requirements into tools and information systems; Utilizing various software to extract data and create reports; Experience developing and making recommendations for information management program implementation and improvement.

Relocation. Relocation expenses will not be paid.
