The Director, Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (ODEIA) is a senior executive who serves as the organizational change agent for promoting a culture of DEIA as a strategic opportunity across a portfolio of government-wide strategies and initiatives.
Plans, executes and reports on analyses, evaluations, or investigations related to the development and implementation of Government-wide diversity ,equity, inclusion and accessibility program;
Articulate and recommend resolution of complex features that require a fresh approach to resolve new problems, such as evaluation changes that could result for proposed legislative or regulatory guidance or from variations program services;
Directs and oversees the creation of an action plans and initiatives in support of the Administration's policy. Analyzes, expands on and modifies successful practices to meet the unique requirements of the Federal workforce;
Develops Government-wide policies and guidance to assist Federal agencies build inclusive and respectful organizational cultures and to leverage diversity, equity and inclusion in their organizations;
Advise in the development of diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility learning and education for Federal agencies to support agency workforce strategies;
Serves as the OPM expert on issues affecting the diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility program, and work with various OPM Offices to develop a communication strategy that enhances diversity and inclusion in the Federal Government.

Qualifications
The Executive Core Qualifications are required for entry to the Senior Executive Service; to meet the minimum qualification requirements for this position, you must show in your resume that you possess the five Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs) listed below.

ECQ 5 - BUILDING COALITIONS: The ability to build coalitions internally and with other Federal agencies, State and local governments, nonprofit and private sector organizations, foreign governments, or international organizations to achieve common goals.

Salary for Senior Executive Service positions varies depending on qualifications.
Selected candidate will be subject to a one-year probationary period in the Senior Executive Service unless required probationary period has previously been served.

You will be evaluated on the quality and extent of your total accomplishments, experience, and education.
