The Deputy Assistant Inspector General for Data Analytics (DAIGDA) serves as a Senior Executive Service member on the Department of Justice (DOJ) Office of Inspector General (OIG) senior leadership team. The DAIGDA directs the Office of Data Analytics in helping the OIG promote economy, efficiency, and effectiveness in DOJ programs and operations and to prevent fraud, waste, and abuse by developing, coordinating, conducting, and overseeing predictive data analytics, statistical sampling, data modeling, data mining, and other advanced statistical and information technology efforts.In this capacity, the DAIGDA:

Veteran's Preference does not apply to the SES. SES members are excluded from premium pay provisions of 5 USC Chapter 55 Subchapter V, such as overtime pay, compensatory time off, Sunday premium pay, holiday premium pay, etc.
Relocation expenses may be reimbursed in accordance with agency policy.A one-year SES probationary period is required unless excepted by regulation.
Government-issued charge card for business-related travel must be obtained and maintained.

Unless you have already been certified by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Review Board (QRB) in the past, your ECQs must be certified by a QRB before appointment can occur.
