    Summary

    This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration, Digital Partnerships and Outreach Division, Office of Innovation (V). As a/an SUPERVISORY ARCHIVES SPECIALIST, you will be serving as the branch chief and supervisor of the Standards and Authorities staff with responsibility for planning, organizing, managing NARA's lifecycle data standards policy and planning support program and activities.

    Responsibilities

    As a SUPERVISORY ARCHIVES SPECIALIST, you will:

    - Analyze and formulate information policies crucial to the effective performance of NARA's mission, particularly in the areas of archival standards and authorities, records, and information management.

    - Serve as branch chief for the Standards and Authorities branch in the Office of Innovation.

    - Conduct or coordinate significant agency-wide or inter-office analyses and evaluations of records lifecycle policies, standards and systems.

    - Direct the coordination, development, and maintenance of agency descriptive standards for NARA's shared information and reference systems, including records lifecycle, public access, and administrative systems.
