This position serves as a Field Coordinator. The incumbent will:
Serving as the primary representative of EDA in relationships with American Indians, Indian tribes, Alaska Natives, and other Native communities.
Establishing and maintaining Tribal partnerships to help them prevent, prepare for, and respond to the coronavirus.
Managing special projects as needed, such as coordinating Tribal Consultation events, co-developing resources for Tribal partners, providing technical assistance, and coordinating trainings.
Serving as subject matter expert for American Indians, Indian tribes, Alaska Natives, and other Native communities’ matters.
Applying qualitative and quantitative techniques to evaluate the impact of EDA projects within American Indians, Indian tribes, Alaska Natives, and other Native communities and present to management the observations, findings, and recommendations.

To qualify for the GS-14 grade level you must have one full year of specialized experience. You must possess 52 weeks of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13. Specialized experience includes:
Communicating effectively and accurately of conveying information across cultures and people.
Developing networks and building alliances while collaborating across boundaries to build strategic relationships to achieve goals.
Evaluating the impact of economic development projects within American Indians, Indian tribes, Alaska Natives, and other Native communities.
There is no educational requirements for this position.
Background Investigation: This position is designated as Non-sensitive/Low Risk and requires that a background investigation be conducted and favorably adjudicated in order to establish security eligibility.
