The following are the duties of this position at the GS-12 . If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.

  • Provide administrative support in various areas; also serve as a contact point with Headquarters staff on administrative matters.

  • Input data to MCI on Division workload, project status, staff training, and other areas; monitor and update the data on a routine schedule set forth by the Division Director.

  • Provide guidance and assistance to OHI, OAE, or OMA staff members who administer or provide content to the SharePoint webpage. 

  • Develop training materials and present training on how to customize folders in OHI, OAE, or OMA SharePoint specific to the needs of the division; and on how to keep information flow current.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.

Specialized experience for the GS-09 is one year of experience at the GS-07 level, or equivalent that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience includes:
- Drafting reports, sending office wide communications and tracking office workloads; AND
- Gathering, researching and providing technical information in response to inquiries.

OR
Education: A related master's or equivalent graduate degree or two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D. Attach a copy of transcripts or list of college courses designating semester or quarter hours earned to ensure proper credit.

OR
Combination of experience and education: This is creditable providing the combination consists of 100% of the requirement. Only graduate level education in excess of the first 18 semester hours (27 quarter hours) may be combined to be considered for qualifying education.

Specialized experience for the GS-11 is one year of experience at the GS-09 level, or equivalent that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience includes:
- Using Microsoft SharePoint to populate information, create and modify views to provide just-in-time information; AND
- Gathering, researching and providing technical information in response to inquiries; AND
- Developing communication tools to improve processes or train others on policies and procedures.

OR
Education: 3 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree. Attach a copy of transcript or list of college courses designating semester or quarter hours earned to ensure proper credit.

OR
Combination of experience and education: This is creditable providing the combination consists of 100% of the requirement. Only graduate level education in excess of 36 semester hours (54 quarter hours) may be combined to be considered for qualifying education.

In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-11, you must have been at the GS-9 level for 52 weeks.

For the GS-9, you must have been at the GS-7 level for 52 weeks.

Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a nontemporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Public Trust – Background Investigation will be required.
- Must successfully complete a background investigation.
