    If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team and will be responsible for serving as the Records Management Specialist (RMS) for the United States Attorney's Office (USAO) and in this regard provide analytical and program management work to all USAO records and information, in all media including paper, CD, DVD, tapes, and voice mail, are created, maintained and disposed of in accordance with federal and Departmental guidelines. Typical work assignments will include:

    • Providing analytical projects and assignments involving office official records including official electronic media.
    • Addressing suitability for storage or conversion to required formats for transfer to National Archives and Records Administration or other appropriate records storage organizations such as cloud storage in accordance with law, regulation, and procedure.
    • Serving as a back-up to the Docketing Technician.
    • Serving as a technical expert on the preparation and presentation of a variety of legal documents by applying a thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of the office
    Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
