    Summary

    You will serve as a Records and Information Management Specialist in the Information Systems and Technology (ISaT) Directorate of NAVY SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT ACTIVITY.

    Responsibilities

    • You will serve as a Records and Information (RIM) Specialist within the Information Systems and Technology (ISaT) Directorate.
    • You will assist the Records Management Officer with planning, organizing, reviewing, coordinating, and establishing controls for all Agency and Departments Records Management activities.
    • You will work with the workforce to ensure adequacy of documentation, creation, and management of Agency and Departments records, ensuring the records management program is compliant with applicable laws and policies.
    • You will promote effective records management throughout the Agency and Department by providing training and helpful communications, such as email, newsletter articles, and similar items.
    • You will manage a wide variety of customer information service functions using advanced technology to meet customer needs while meeting records management objectives.
    • You will execute RIM programs and subprograms such as records management, content management, forms management, website management for the Command Agency and its customers.
    • You will serve as the Command Agency senior technical and policy expert on community-wide electronic and non-electronic records management issues.
    • You will manage a wide variety of customer-information service functions using advanced technology to meet customer needs while assessing records management objectives.
    • You will participate in IT capital planning processes for all major information systems to ensure that records management functionality is appropriate to the records/information assets they support and are included in system design.
    • You will promote effective records management throughout the Agency and Department by providing training and helpful communications, such as email, newsletter articles, and similar items.
