    The Housing and Civil Enforcement Section (HCE or the Section) is seeking a Special Litigation Counsel (SLC) for Fair Lending. The attorney selected for this position will be dedicated to the Section's fair lending enforcement work.

    Responsibilities

    The SLC will be responsible for developing and supervising investigations, litigation and compliance monitoring under the Fair Housing Act and Equal Credit Opportunity Act. These responsibilities include supervising the activities of Section trial attorneys and other staff and assisting in developing enforcement policies, strategies, and priorities. The SLC also assists the Section Chief in developing enforcement policies, strategies, and priorities. In addition, the SLC will interact with regulatory and enforcement agencies and organize and conduct training programs as appropriate.
