Duties

Help
  • Prepares and serves food items which include, but are not limited to, hot dogs, nachos, chips, candy, lemonade drinks, etc. Keeps work area clean and orderly.
  • Collects sales slips, total sales on cash register, accepts payment from patrons and makes change as necessary. Maintains related cash records. Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Able to work alone. Know the proper use of special cleaning and sanitizing solutions. Know simple food handling techniques. Able to work safely.
  • Receives verbal and written assignments. Is expected to work as scheduled and to know what steps are needed to complete the work. Accomplishes work on own initiative.
  • Frequently lifts and moves items weighing up to 40. Requires constantly standing, stooping, bending, walking and reaching.

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty.
  • Satisfactory completion of a medical examination is required within 30 days of employment
  • Must be able to work varying shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays and as needed.
  • Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
  • Must meet state/local age requirements (21 years old) at the time of appointment if serving alcoholic beverages. Certificate of Medical Examination required.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
  • Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.

Qualifications

1. Be able to lift and carry weights up to 40 pounds.
2. Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory.
