Duties

Help
  • Performs routine maintenance on mechanical and electrical bowling equipment, components and assemblies.
  • Adjusts equipment in accordance with guidance provided by and identifies potential malfunctions to the Bowling Equipment Repairer.
  • Assists the Bowling Equipment Repairer in making repairs, adjusting equipment and related duties.
  • Cleans and maintains the bowling facility by replacing light bulbs; making minor repairs to vacuum cleaners, buffers, etc.; and scrubbing, washing and polishing floors, walls and other surfaces.
  • Assist in stocking, inventory, and related duties in the bowling facility.

  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty.
  • Satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
  • Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
  • Lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Moves large items weighing up to 100 pounds.
  • Works in awkward positions.
  • Work is indoors.
  • Work area is usually noisy.
  • May be required to wear protective clothing.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to lift and carry large items weighing up to 100 pounds.
  • Possess work experience or training in the use of electrical test equipment and wiring diagrams.
  • Be physically able to work for extended periods of time in cramped and awkward positions.
  • Skilled in the use of electrical test equipment and tools.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturer's diagrams, specifications and schematics.
