Duties

Help

The primary purpose of this position is supporting strategy measurement, development, and execution, supporting portfolio and program management implementation, coordinating with key internal and external stakeholders, and developing briefings, reports, and other major deliverables.

Duties performed:

  • Conduct program and project management to define and execute enterprise objectives and operational priorities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization, ensuring adherence to a rigorous, disciplined program/project lifecycle, and leverage program/project management best practices.
  • Support the organization's effort toward greater data-driven analysis, operations and decision making, including enterprise program reviews, implementation of success measures, key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, trending, analytics, and reporting.
  • Support development, execution, and monitoring of the Strategic Plan, strategic objectives, and operational plans.

Qualifications

Applicants must demonstrate that they meet the Minimum Qualification requirements as noted below.

Minimum Qualifications: ZA-IV: You qualify for the ZA-IV grade level if you possess at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or ZA-III in the Federal government, performing the following duties:

  1. Planning, managing, and executing projects to accomplish program objectives and ensure it meets the organization's mission and vision;
  2. Analyzing data and trends across the enterprise to identify success metrics, report on enterprise performance and progress, and recommend improvement areas;
  3. Developing and executing program plans and processes to support strategic planning development, operational plan execution, and enterprise performance;
  4. Working collaboratively across the enterprise to accomplish the objectives and support programs' efforts to improve processes, project management, and data efforts.

Background Investigation: To ensure the accomplishment of its mission, the Department of Commerce requires each and every employee to be reliable and trustworthy. To meet those standards, all selected applicants must undergo and successfully complete a background investigation for a clearance as a condition of placement in this Low Risk position.
