**ANNOUNCEMENT IS OPEN UNTIL FILLED OR 2/17/2022**Responsibilities
- Research the use of binding agents targeting broad classes of contaminants that facilitate their removal from agricultural wastewater.
- Investigate potential chemically pretreating wastewater to enhance removal by the developed treatment process.
- Investigate the use of polymer coating of binding agents to expand the types of compounds removed from wastewater.
- Develop efficacy of these treatment methods for mitigating the release of pharmaceuticals, pharmaceutical metabolites and other environmentally active compounds to the environment resulting from wastewater disposal.
