    Responsibilities

    • The incumbent would serve train other Forestry Technicians and assist Silviculturists and Foresters by gathering a variety of information use to prepare for the silviculture and forestry portions of the Resource Management Plan
    • Conducts reviews of forest stand inventories, administers timber sale contracts, prepare forest road layouts, thinning and insect control.
    • Applies silvicultural techniques for commercial thinning and regeneration harvest, and the development of silvicultural prescriptions, and applies silvicultural techniques in replanting of areas

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
