The Office of Integrity and Quality Oversight (IQO), performs program integrity and report reviews, oversees the quality of OIG audits, inspections, and other operations within the organization, develops, coordinates and communicates OIG policies and
procedures, and engages in OIG-wide planning and risk assessment to help prioritize application of the OIG's resources.
Being a Program Analyst makes you a valuable member of the Office of Integrity and Quality Oversight (IQO), Office of Inspector General (OIG), Department of Homeland Security (DHS). You will forge effective communication and information sharing; create and maintain sound policies and procedures; facilitate strategic planning, and implementation; and builds a risk-informed culture.. Typical assignments include:
- Perform and analyze complex risk management and evaluations aligned to strategic objectives; identifies techniques or methods to use in gathering data and documentation.
- Knowledge of analytical concepts, principles and practices applicable to the full range of program and management analysis.
- Prepares reports, correspondence, briefings, and testimony that covers DHS risk, strategy, and work planning programs.
- Effectively communicate and facilitate small and large group working sessions and to collaborate with stakeholders in meetings geared toward desired goals and outcomes.
