    Summary

    The U.S. Office of Personnel Management is the President's agent and advisor for the Government's human resources management systems. OPM's key responsibility is to ensure these systems support agencies in recruiting, hiring and retaining the merit-based, high-quality, diverse workforce necessary to meet the needs of the American people. Applications will be used to fill positions by the hiring officials at U.S. OPM, this is not a government wide resume repository.

    Responsibilities

    As hiring officials for U.S. OPM prepare to fill positions using the Schedule A hiring authority, resumes maintained in this database will be reviewed for qualifications for the following types of positions:

    Jobs within series 0100-0199 / Social Science, Welfare, Psychology
    Jobs within series 0200-0299 / Human Resources Management
    Jobs within series 0300 - 0399 / General Administrative, Clerical, and Office Services
    Jobs within series 0400 - 0499 / Biological Sciences
    Jobs within series 0500 - 0599 / Accounting and Budget
    Jobs within series 0600 - 0699 / Medical, Hospital, Dental, and Public Health
    Jobs within series 0900 - 0999 - Legal and Kindred
    Jobs within series 1000 - 1099 / Information and Arts
    Jobs within series 1100 - 1199 / Business and Industry
    Jobs within series 1500 - 1599 / Mathematics and Statistics
    Jobs within series 1600 - 1699 / Equipment, Facilities, and Service
    Jobs within series 1700 - 1799 / Education
    Jobs Within series 1800 - 1899 / Inspection, Investigation, Enforcement, and Compliance
    Jobs within series 2000 - 2099 / Supply
    Jobs within Series 2200 - 2299 / Information Technology Management
