Duties

Help
  • You will document material movement and inventory count (materials, supplies, tooling, etc).
  • You will monitor the manufacturing input/output process, verify for accuracy and process Ordnance Inventory System (OIS) transactions and follow up with responsible parties to ensure necessary actions are complete.
  • You will monitor and control the requisitioning, recording and distribution of expendable ordnance material through the analysis of the OIS system.
  • You will coordinate procurement of equipment, tooling, and services in support of programs.
  • You will maintain an accurate data base of building equipment calibrations, certifications, and tests; and generate out of tolerance documents for quality assurance on calibrated items.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band NT-02 (GS-5/8) or grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying basic procedures of inventory control to assist in the receipt, shipping, stowage, or disposition of an organization's expendable ordnance material.

Education

***** Education may be substituted for specialized experience as follows:
  • A master's or equivalent graduate degree; OR
  • Two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's or equivalent graduate degree; OR
  • An LL.B. or J.D., if related to the position being filled; OR
  • A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
