    The Supervisory Staff Assistant, located in the Office of Audits and Evaluations, and can be filled at any of the following locations: Arlington, VA; Atlanta, GA; Aurora, CO; Austin, TX; Baltimore, MD; Bay Pines, FL; Bedford, MA; Dallas, TX; Hines, IL; Kansas City, MO; Los Angeles, CA; Salt Lake City, UT; San Diego, CA; Seattle, WA; and Washington, DC

    As a Supervisory Staff Assistant, you will:

    • Cover the day-to-day issues of running a major business’ front office; capture and maintain practices and procedures for Executive team operations.
    • Pull research for the oral and written statements; create project folders ensuring data is properly categorized and organized for references; review and approve the files and organization of work from the TeamMate database (or any other management information systems); reviews file for completeness.
    • Ensure all monthly meetings with executives from VA Departments (Assistant Secretary, Assistant Deputy Under Secretary, Chief Financial Officer, Principal Executive for Acquisition, Chief Information Officer, as well as the senior executives from the Office of the U.S. Comptroller General) are scheduled and prepared for.
    • Ensure the office-wide taskings (internal) and suspenses (external) are updated and monitored for implementation or close-out; coordinate with the responsible office (assigned by the AIG) for delivery of the draft through the final product to meet the suspense, on the date the deliverable is due.

    Travel Required

    25% or less - 1-5 nights per month.
