**ANNOUNCEMENT IS OPEN UNTIL FILLED OR JANUARY 3, 2022**Responsibilities
- Conducts studies in basic and applied computational biology, including metagenome assembly, DNA/RNA sequencing, taxonomic classification, and data management.
- Develops an extensible pipeline for metagenome DNA sequence data analysis and documents pipeline features for deployment as part of the USDA's SCINet initiative.
Travel Required
Occasional travel - Local and domestic travel travel will be required for field work and to attend training and scientific meetings and conferences.
