    This is a training opportunity in the Radiological Control Office (C105) of PSNS and IMF to gain experience in the competencies necessary to perform professional Health Physicist, GS-1306, duties. If selected, you will be placed on a Detail NTE 1 year.

    Please Note: There will be no change in your salary during the timeframe of this training opportunity.

    • You will plan, execute, and document dosimetric processes to accomplish the personnel exposure control program.
    • You will operate and maintain dosimetry processing systems.
    • You will plan and lead the collection of environmental samples and survey data.
    • You will evaluate radiation survey data to determine radiation hazards.

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
