Duties

Help
  • Responsible for financial program management for a major systems acquisition program.
  • Review, analyze and evaluate accomplishment of overall program by reports, studies, products and information provided by staff members, support personnel, contractors and other agencies officials.
  • Responsible for all cost/schedule/resource management and program reporting for a major weapon systems for one or more funding categories.

  • Required to obtain and maintain at least a Secret Security Clearance.
  • This critical acquisition position requires Level III Certification in the Acquisition career field of Financial Management.
  • Must be an Acquisition Corps (AC) member at the time of permanent selection for the position or have been granted a waiver.
  • A written agreement to remain in Federal service in the position for at least three years. In signing such agreement, the employee does not forfeit any employment rights, nor does such an agreement alter any other terms or conditions of employment.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes managing program's financial managements; acquisition plans; developing execution (obligation and expenditure) plans; developing Program Objective Memorandums / long range planning; coordinating requirements, estimates, and acquisition; preparing financial and programmatic reports and/or briefings for senior leaders.


This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13 or above or NH-03).

Education

Additional information
