Duties

The following are the duties of this position at the GS-15. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.

- Provides a wide range of analytical work by performing in-depth management and program reviews.
- Performs research and conducts studies of a substantive nature of CDFI Fund program areas and gives advice to the Deputy Director or Director.
- Plans, develops, coordinates and implements special projects with all CDFI Fund offices.
- Prepares memos and correspondence for the Director's or Deputy Director's signature.
- Helps the Director or Deputy Director to continuously develop and execute plans to accomplish strategic goals.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.

Specialized experience for the GS-14: you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service in ALL of the following. Specialized experience for this position includes:
- Experience leading efforts to develop and implement policy as it relates to financial access programs and community or economic development; AND
- Experience collaborating with national organizations, academia and government organizations as it relates to economic policy and programs; AND
- Experience formulating strategy to include conducting analysis, evaluating options, and making recommendations.
 
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-14, you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
