Supervises the development and implementation of policies and procedures consistent with pertinent legislation and Executive Orders as well as with the regulations and policies of OPM for the operational aspects of the Human Resources Management program including activities involved in and related to: the classification of positions; the determination of pay; the administration of leave; performance appraisals; awards; employee relations; EEO program; and benefits.
Providing advisory and consultative services to managers and employees with respect to various elements of the Human Resources Management Program.
Implementation and administration of employee performance appraisal program. Representing OIG at pertinent interagency meetings and conferences concerned with human resources operational matters. Carries out workforce planning and analysis as a program to benefit the recruitment and retention of employees who are needed to carry out the current and future mission of the OIG and as required by OMB. Provide oversight for the day-to day operational and functional oversight of the diversity program.
