Summary

Serve as an intelligence specialist responsible for directing and leading a wide-range of intelligence analysis and production activities across multiple fields of the intelligence profession. In collaboration with supervisor, sets priorities and develops strategies to leverage national and tactical resources to accomplish NIOC Hawaii's mission.

A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 10.28% will be added to the stated salary. COLA is subject to change at any time.

Duties

Help
  • You will conduct senior intelligence work that requires expert knowledge from a diverse range of concepts, principles and techniques in multiple fields of the intelligence profession.
  • You will establish collaborative relationships with senior military and executive level civilian personnel in other intelligence agencies
  • You will communicate with various national and tactical intelligence organizations on a daily basis to ensure analytic efforts are synchronized with national, theater and tactical intelligence requirements.
  • You will review Command?s Objectives and tasking from higher level authorities while coordinating with supervisor to identify and set program objectives and priorities.

  • All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
  • Relocation expenses (i.e. PCS) or relocation incentives as described in 5 USC 5753 may be authorized in accordance with applicable travel regulations.
  • This position requires a periodic polygraph examination.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at the GG/GS-12 level in the Federal Service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties such as: 1) Providing signal intelligence analysis and production tasks in agreement with intelligence regulations and standards; 2) Collecting, reviewing, interpreting, evaluating and integrating intelligence data from multiple sources; 3) Preparing new or revised analyses, assessments or other products in accordance with organizational standards; 4) Establishing new policies or revise existing policies to ensure the command is enabled to meet increasing demands and complex analytic problems; 5) Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), Tactical Techniques and Procedures (TTPs), OPTASK Cryptology, Operation Orders (OPORDS) and Tasking Orders (TASKORDS), as well as historical analysis, processes, and techniques.
