Duties

Help

As the Director of the Innovation Program Division, you will:
-Conceive, define, develop, and oversee the implementation of an overall strategic direction for NARA's innovation program
-Oversee the formulation of agency policies and guidelines governing NARA's innovation program
-Serve as Director for innovation projects and/or studies of broad scope and complexity
-Plan, direct, and supervise the work of the Innovation Program staff and Innovation Hub staff

The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized experience is one (1) year of experience at the GS-14 level, or equivalent, which is directly related to the position as listed in this announcement and has equipped the candidate with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position successfully. Specialized experience is defined as follows:
- Directing operating programs or supporting service organizations and providing organizational feedback to top level executives; AND
- Implementing a strategic direction for innovation in at least two of the following specialty areas: human-computer interaction design, data analysis, leading innovation challenges or competitions in the federal government, digital project management, emerging technologies, research and development); AND
- Leading strategic planning initiatives and major programmatic studies to enhance mission performance in support of organizational goals and objectives.
