Qualifications

Note: A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities. Physical Requirements: Standing, stooping, bending, stretching and lifting are required in performing normal duties. Occasionally, objects as heavy as 40 pounds must be lifted and moved.
Working Condition: The work is usually performed in well lighted, ventilated space. Outside work is performed in good weather except for emergency situations. There is some hazard of electric shock and burn while testing or repairing electrical or electronic circuits. He/She is subject to possibility of asbestos exposure and chemicals which can cause burns or skin irritations. The incumbent will be assigned to either the Uptown or Downtown Division, however, on occasion, he/she may perform these duties at either division when assigned as needed.
